Chinese Week

These days the chinese celebrate the New Year, fact of which you might be aware because these days all China is on vacation and since you can imagine what a chaos that might be, it is likely that the television talks about it..... From that you might infere that for the chinese the celebration of the new year is an important event and you are completely right. It is for that reason that during the week there has been some events prepared by the chinese comunity at the University. Today was the "big day", where we had chinese food, the typical chinese dragon dancing around and different shows as you will see right now.

I cannot help it, when i see such a beautiful chinese events my feelings towards China and the chinese culture arise again... and again i am dreaming about flying there, but this time to stay for a little longer...

Anyway, here some pics and judge by yourselves whether it is beautiful or not..

I took some videos at different moments of the event and i put them together here. There are four cuts: some beautiful dancing at the begining, a girl singing (with a fabulous voice, but i guess you won't appreciate it in this video) and finally... also a fashion show... :-)



And after this event.. i walked home and i realised that i had also some videos that i took during my days in that colourful country. It is nothing important , i should have taken more videos... but.. anyway, i let you here with:
- a sequence of a chinese soap opera that i took at the TV of the hotel.... i laughed a lot ...i should say..
- and a yelling tour guide. We were in a day-tour in the surroundings of Qingdao to visit some holy mountains (all the mountains are holy there, though) and... this girl...oh,God,, she did not stop yelling (i say it with all my affection) during the 45 min of the bus trip... with a volume that made impossible to talk and hear to my partner...
Oh, i also recall it now..... in this bus a young chinese couple came to us because.. well, they wanted to talk in English (in fact, they were taking part in an English competition...yes,,,it seems that they have English competitions between universities... ) and the boy, after knowing that i was from Barcelona, told me that he wrote an email to the president of the F.C.Barcelona...and he was asking me if i thought that he would answer him.... Mmmmm.....
