On Saturday i landed on Munich, city that i hadn't visited yet and given the fact that my cousin is there now, that was an opportunity that i couldn't miss. The visit is really worthy; it's a beautiful city and there are a many places to visit.... The first day we had an impressive weather, as you see in the next pics.
It seems one of the MUSTs in Munich is to eat one of the huges 'schnitzels'... so I did it..

On our way back we visited the English Gardens, where they already have 'Biergartens'...so we decided to get our first 'mass' (one-liter beer). Here, near the Chinese Tower... (i always end up finding chinese-related things...)
At night... we went out, but first we 'warmed up' a bit at home... ;-) I won't publish pictures about the party at "4004", just say that we arrived home at 7 a. m.
Next afternoon, we visited the more than impressive Deutsches Museum. It worths a one-week visit, but we did our best in 3 hours.. Really worthy (for engineer-related people, i guess)
The first large rocket, the V2, used in World War II by the German Army as long range guided missile to attack cities and industrial facilities. It is regarded as forerunners of modern launch vehicles for Space or military rockets.
For the electronics-interested.. a reproduction of the first experimental integrated circuit (at a scale 15:1).
There is also a reproduction of the Altamira Caves ...
And lots of other interesting things... but let's go to the most important MUST in Munich, Hofbräuhaus, a typical bavarian restaurant and beer hall... here one experiences the real Bavaria, with live music and one-liter beers ('Mass').
Next day we did a day-trip to Salzburg (Austria) because it's only two hours away from Munich. Here a view from Kapuzinerberg.
And here, in our way downtown, you see up the hill the fortress of Hohensalzburg.

Of course, the house where Mozart was born ...
And as a happy end, on our way back we got our last 'Mass' together at Hofbräuhaus.... :-)
